From within the mind of Dawson
From the beginning of time there has always been good and evil. Repeatedly, they have engaged in battle against one another in hopes of defeating the other. However, this story is different. Death and destruction has never been one person’s job and from time to time a new evil must be brought in order to refresh the ranks. If it be told after a couple of hundred years of D & D a person or entity will go soft sometimes not taking the lives or causing the destruction that is necessary for the balance of the universe. Now this is that story.

The Dreams
The dreams that we all have are unlike any others. The dreams that you have are not mine and mine are not like yours. But you have to admit we all have wished our dreams came true. In the Dreams trilogy the unthinkable does happen and for some people their dreams do come true. I have received many good comments about the trilogy the most common one is what would I do?
What would you do if you could control your dreams? Take a minute and think about it.

Knowing that he needed to find out what or who was out there he set off that next morning in search of the unknown. Was there anyone alive besides him? Knowing the neighborhood, he set off to the west knowing that Joe his friend lived just two blocks away. The day that Clay’s family was killed Clay, Joe had been down at the local mall doing what young boys do hanging out, and watching the girls. Were Joe and his family still alive?
With the Colt in hand, Clay approached the house with caution stepping onto the porch. He yelled out “Joe you in there? Joe its Clay” but no reply came, and he feared the worse. As he turned the knob and pushed the door open, the darkness made him shiver.
The house was empty except for the bodies of his friend and his parents. The one thing that Clay had noticed about all the bodies that he found was that there was not sign of trauma. It was as if they simply died doing whatever it was they were doing. Joe’s father sat in his favorite chair as if watching the television. Joe’s mother was at the kitchen table her head laying on the crossword puzzle she was working on the pen in her hand. Clay found Joe up in his bedroom laying on his bed his hands still held the controller from his gaming console.
Searching each house for survivors Clay would take whatever canned goods, he found knowing that the occupants would no longer need then and not knowing what was to come Clay thought that was best.
As he walked from house to house, he saw no signs of life not one living being not even a dog, and as he was about to give up, he spotted movement. Knowing that he had to find out who it was he yelled out “Hey you “waiting for a response seemed to take forever even though it was mere seconds.
As Clay entered the small corridor sandwiched between the two houses, three men appeared all aiming guns at him. “Stop right there young man” The taller of the trio stated.
Any ideas?
